Tapestry Arts is a nonprofit arts organization, founded in 1976.  Our mission is to provide opportunities for the community to interact with the arts.  Tapestry delivers art education and outreach programs to children and adults in a variety of setting, including schools, shelters and community centers.  We believe a complete education includes the arts.  Tapestry hires and trains artists to teach curriculum-based arts classes.  Programs include short and long term residencies, workshops, performances, exhibitions and "World Moves" a multicultural dance residency concluding with a professionally staged performance.
